3 Days of Normal
In this thoroughly charming romantic comedy, Bill Morgan (Jace McLean), an uptight, lonely, small-town New Hampshire cop, has his world turned upside down when a reckless young Hollywood starlet stumbles into town. After escaping the paparazzi, ‘It Girl’ Nikki Gold (Mircea Monroe) is found passed out in her rental car by Bill, who is unaware of her celebrity identity. Nikki embraces her newfound anonymity and avoids publicity by hiding out in the town. “3 Days of Normal” follows Bill and Nikki during three blissful days as they find themselves relying on one another in ways they never thought possible.

"While some say the romantic comedy is headed toward extinction, '3 Days of Normal' seeks to prove there’s life left in the genre...the movie remains an endearing and sweetly enjoyable watch for a night in...there are some solid laughs along the way, thanks mainly to reliable comic actors Richard Riehle, Lin Shaye and Ajay Naidu."
- Stephanie Merry, The Washington Post
"3 Days of Normal is quietly quirky and endearing, with both Monroe and McLean doing a nice job of finding the humor in their situations without ever poking fun at their worlds."
- Richard Propes, The Independent Critic
"The sweet and amusing ways that the characters come together during a “detoxification” period for Gold makes this film special, and the cinematography being as crisp and clear as the early October air in which it was filmed was a great bonus."
- John Stahl, Portsmouth Patch
"As a delightful, independent film, 3 DAYS OF NORMAL is a treat. Skillfully directed by Ishai Setton, the story of a small town police officer who slowly becomes entangled in the world of a crazy – and undeniably attractive – actress, is fraught with clever one liners, silly but effective situations and charming chemistry from the two leads. I was especially impressed with the unforced style and confidence of the director. He has his own visual style, although he’s obviously studied the classics as well.
